What is a Covid Learning Coach (CLC)? As a CLC, you will be connected with research faculty at CSU to provide in-person educational support for their school-age children enrolled at the local Poudre school district while undergoing on-line learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Time Commitment: 4-8 hours/week (flexible hours developed in participation with research faculty & students)

Start Time: Spring academic semester (Feb-May 2021)

Pay Rate: $13.00/hour

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate major in STEM discipline (minimum GPA 3.0)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially with K-8 grade level students
  • Well-organized, responsible, and collaborative
  • Be able to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, meet deadlines
  • Has transportation to and from tutoring site
  • Must be able to pass the required background check with Poudre School District

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Formal or informal experience working with K-8 students
  • Desire to explore and develop a profession in education
